Links to all the software from DEFCON 16
Rob Fuller has posted links to all the software from DEFCON 16 on his blog that you can get to from here [Updated link to the official DEFCON archive]. I think all of them are interesting but a few I might try to introduce in some of my classes. In no real order of preference be sure to check out.
- Beholder
- The Middler
- Marathon Tool
- Grendel Scan
- iKat
- DAVIX (I was following this one before DEFCON. When your working with large data sets a tool like this could really be useful both for security and non-security analysis.)
- VMware Pen-Testing Framework
- Barrier (not sure if I wanted someone to visit my websites with this but I still think it has promise.)
- Psyche
None of the items on my list are links. Since updates seem to be happening often I would follow the link to the DEFCON Archive or Room362.com website for the current URL’s. Let me know in the comments of you check out any of these tools and what you think about them.
